Black Male Mental Health
Trauma and resilience two words that describe the Impact of what it means to be a Black man in America, I'm honored to be a part of this panel because mental health is important to me. I've suffered my bouts with Anxiety, Anger, Depression and Hopelessness. I know a lot of people keep trauma in, or haven't found the voice to speak up and talk about it, which is a continuing process for me which I can be the example of.
To survive struggle to endure to success is the resilience we are talking about becoming your best self comes with telling yourself the truth about yourself.
Mentally, our minds are clouded and focused on so many things outside ourselves that the best of ourselves get lost in looking for the best in others.
It's my hope being a part of this dialogue will help to highlight the resilience that we all have, this is work we all have to do.
Addressing trauma and resilience is a transforming conversation and i'm glad to be a part of it to share my inner feeling and thoughts about how we can change the prospective around mental health trauma drama and resilience to secur a future of Peace..
